Lo Schiavo Legacy Society

The Lo Schiavo Legacy Society honors the example of Fr. John Lo Schiavo, whose inspired leadership at USF spanned more than six decades. In a letter addressing the university's legacy and promise for the future. He wrote "The need for moral and ethical standards in every sector of modern society has never been more evident." USF celebrates society members who carry on Fr. Lo’s legacy of enduring devotion to Jesuit values through education by leaving an estate commitment or life income arrangement to benefit USF. These future gifts often include a gift through a will or trust, charitable trust, establishment of a charitable gift annuity, or beneficiary designation in a retirement plan or other financial account.

Legacy gifts have an enduring effect on USF. They help secure the university’s future as well as support student scholarships, programs, research, and the endowment.
